The sponge
cake is one cake that I don’t mind having at every break time, especially with
a cup of coffee for those of us who love coffee. Well, today I’ll take you
through very simple steps to bake a delicious sponge cake. If you are set,

Ingredients

Sugar
·
Margarine
·
Eggs
·
Plain
flour
6 oz sugar
and 6 oz margarine} Beat very fluffy in a bowl.
3 eggs: add
one by one to the Sugar and Margarine mixture, beating well.
6 oz plain
flour and 2 ½ level teaspoon baking
powder}mix well and fold
into the mixture.
[Note: 6 oz = 170 grams or 3/4 cup]

Bake for
20 minutes at gas mark 4 [180 C or 350 F]. It makes 2 layers. Enjoy your sponge cake!, mine came
